I worked for Microsoft and had a regular version whose cd broke and wanted to continue my games without having to purchase another cd and tried this.
Summary
Well it won't work on XP which is built on the NT platform and the fix doesn't work either. If you are going to offer something it should work.

Downloaded this program twice and it still gives the same error message: "DirectX not installed....." even though I have DirectX (latest version) installed! I have a Pentium II, on Windows XP. Why won't it open????

In the demo there r 2 citys (total 8 puzzles). It does state that this is the end of the demo. Doesn't work on win xp. Its just a tease..they want u to buy the original full game. (that business) Now to find it in the stores.. will be a fun time.

I could not stop playing. When I got this game. It went on for ever work was starting to get in the way. Played 2x just to get enough and went back and did all the puzzles.
