This httpd domain is better for your OS

Pros
Really the only new thing about this version (2.2.22) is security fixes, yet they harden the web server which makes it more favorable to the OS. Hence, more OS-scripting tasks can be pushed up to the server.
Cons
I expected a single file with an .msi extension, not the source files which are mainly for debugging. I instead found one at httpd.apache.org/download.cgi.
Summary
In summary Apache version 2.2.22 will work for trusted cgi scripting, but you are on your own for a customized installation. Going to the apache.org download site may be more helpful. Or using an OS-friendly download application may be more secure for your OS.
